Back-up Battery Solution

Backup battery is a device for energy conversion and storage, which converts chemical or physical energy into electrical energy through a reaction. During the period when lithium batteries were not widely used, lead-acid batteries were basically used as backup batteries. However, the number of uses and cycles of lead-acid batteries is much lower than that of lithium batteries, so most backup batteries used now will be replaced with lithium batteries, such as base station batteries, storage center backup batteries, and backup batteries for large cruise ships, etc.

The backup battery for base stations is a lithium iron phosphate battery. Lithium iron phosphate battery is a new type of low-cost, high-performance lithium iron phosphate battery, which has advantages such as high energy density, small size, light weight, long cycle life, and green environmental protection. It is widely used in fields such as vehicle power supply, microwave communication base station devices, and power systems.

According to global data statistics, the actual number of 5G base stations built in various regions has exceeded tens of millions, and the development of the communication industry is irreversible. Lithium iron phosphate batteries have the characteristics of small size and light weight, and under the same capacity, the cost of lithium iron phosphate batteries is lower. Communication devices are mostly high-power wireless handheld devices or small energy storage power sources, among which using lithium iron phosphate batteries as backup power sources has cost advantages and good battery life.

Digital Device Battery Solution

There are 18650 lithium batteries, polymer lithium batteries, alkaline No. 5 batteries, etc. for digital devices. As alkaline No. 5 batteries are disposable batteries, they are basically not used by anyone, and most of them are lithium batteries.

18650 lithium battery is a cylindrical lithium battery, which has the highest voltage and capacity of individual batteries. Due to its advantages of large capacity, safety and reliability, and high cost-effectiveness, it is widely used in laptops, strong light flashlights, digital cameras, and various lithium-ion batteries.

Polymer lithium battery refers to a type of lithium-ion battery, in principle, both the positive and negative electrode materials are liquid electrolytes. However, in the actual process, a small amount of polymer electrolyte is added to the positive electrode material to improve the transmission performance of lithium ions or lithium, so it is called a polymer lithium-ion battery.

Digital devices such as vacuum cleaners, electric toys, drones, computers, and tablets all use digital device batteries. Lithium batteries use materials with higher capacity and energy density, which improves their energy storage capacity and extends their battery life. The Battery Management System (BMS) ensures the safety and stability of the battery. This is also the reason why digital devices are using lithium batteries, completely replacing previous disposable alkaline batteries and bulky lead-acid batteries.
