Shenzhen University Longgang Innovation Institute opening ceremony successfully held

On the morning of November 20, 2017, the opening ceremony of Shenzhen University’s Longgang Innovation Institute was successfully held in Dayun Software Town, Longgang District, Shenzhen. The opening ceremony was attended by Liu Hongyi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shenzhen University, Zhang Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Longgang District, Xu Chen Chen, Vice President of Shenzhen University, and Chen Guangwen, Deputy Governor of Longgang District, and the guests of honor were Li Xu, Associate Vice President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), Xu Wenhuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Minde Electronic Technology Co. Ltd. chairman Yuan Bo, general manager Ke Zhiming, Shenzhen University and Longgang District Government and other relevant departments.
Chen Guangwen, deputy governor, expressed warm congratulations to Shenzhen University Longgang Innovation Institute for the opening of the park, saying that Longgang District, as a large industrial area and strong innovation area in Shenzhen, has long attached great importance to the contact and cooperation with Shenzhen University. Since the two sides signed a cooperation agreement in 2016, they have comprehensively introduced Shenzhen University’s high-quality scientific research strength and innovative talents (team), set up a technology innovation and entrepreneurship development fund, introduced more than 20 scientific research platforms and innovative projects, and gradually built a technology transfer platform, business incubation platform and application research and development platform with Shenzhen University’s characteristics and Longgang’s characteristics, providing strong support for Longgang to build a comprehensive innovation ecological system. In the future, Longgang District will continue to care about and support the development of the Institute, further improve the policy service system, create a better environment for the development of the Institute, and work together to build the Institute into a world-class new research institutions.
